DIVEX's main goal is the promotion of the diversification of mineral exploration in Quebec. 43 projects (20 in phase 1 (2002-2006) and 23 in phase 2 (2006-2010) deal with either problems related to new exploration targets or with revision of old problems with innovative ideas.
Each project has the potential to emerge very rapidly on new exploration methods that will increase the probabilities of economic discoveries. Practical tools will have to be developped and optimized for the conditions of exploration in Quebec.
